It's this beautiful time of year again, where the sun is at its strongest, the days are long and the nights are short (at least in the northern hemisphere!). The summer solstice around the 21st of June is all about light, joy and abundance and the celebration thereof! It reminds us of our own inner light, our connection to source, our own divinity.

The general energy of the collective around this solstice is about the focus on lack. Are you sending your energy towards the things in your life that you think are missing? This card invites us to turn around and see the two full cups behind us instead of focussing on the "spilled milk" - the stuff that didn't go so well in the recent past. Let the sun into your life by acknowledging all that is good in your life and celebrate!
Don't let emotions get the better of you. There's nothing wrong with emotions, as they are a great indicator for what's good for us and what isn't - but try to not let emotions rule you. It is time to let go of the old, especially of the things that keep dragging you down energetically. Instead of holding on to grief and sadness, go with the flow. The solstice is a reminder to surrender to life and it's changes - we can't stop them anyways.
If you're daydreaming about new things in your life (jobs, relationships, hobbies, creative ideas, ...), make them happen! Re-focus, go out and take action to fulfill your dreams. When you come out of your daydreaming mode and passivity you can find harmony; for some of you it can be love, for others it can be a wonderful union with a friend, a family member, a co-worker .... or with yourself! Self-love is the best of all cause you don't have to rely on anyone else to make you happy. :)
Whatever you do to enhance your life this summer, make sure you are in balance. Aim for moderation in everything you do. If you work hard, leave enough time for rest and celebration. When you are in tune with your inner guidance system you will find your power and stand strong and tall this summer and fall!
